CRI responds to serious allegations from GFI
Why
did the Christian Research Institute do a cover story on GFI?
Many have
asked if GFI is a cult or have voiced concerns about their theology; CRI answers
these questions.

Attention mothers: if
you read only one article on this website, please read this one.
This article has probably had a greater impact on me than anything else I've
ever read regarding my role as a mother.
It could very well be the most important article on this page and,
if followed prayerfully, will make reading the articles below not all that
necessary.
Bottlefeeding,
Guilt, and Breastfeeding Extremism
A review of Peggy Robin's Bottlefeeding Without
Guilt (re-titled When Breastfeeding is Not an Option)
A
Statement Regarding Gary Ezzo
and Growing Families International
The latest and presumably final version
Questions
for GFI families who have "gone the distance"
Believe
it or not, we're actually soliciting input
and testimonies from longterm users of GFI materials!
A

What should
likemindedness really mean?
Wise

An
open response from Roy Maynard, author of "The
Ezzos Know Best"
(WORLD Magazine , May 25/June
1, 1996)
to Gary
Ezzo's previously publicly circulated criticism of the article.
Gary Ezzo's original rebuttal to the WORLD article has been removed from the
GFI website.
The re-edited rebuttal, featuring a somewhat altered "interview" with Roy
Maynard,
is reportedly available directly from GFI.

Coming Who Knows When:
A Review of "To Train Up a Child"
OK, I know...I've been promising this one for years. A sneak
preview:
I'm less than thrilled. The theology is murky. The techniques advocated are
too behavioristic for my tastes. Plus, I don't believe in pulling babies'
hair
or hitting toddlers with toys. Other than that...I still probably
wouldn't recommend it.
