weeping may endure
and nights may seem forever
and hearts so easily broken
may wrench us with their bleedingweeping may endure
when all we love has died
when icy winds howl through our souls
and nightmare fear surrounds usweeping may endure
and burdens seem to crush us
and darkness choke our every breath
tear our minds and leave us brokenweeping may endure
when all our hope has failed
when all our strength and all our reason
has turned to death and desolationweeping may endure
until we look toward the sunrise
weeping may endure--
but joy comes in the morning4. October 1983
